Shoreham Vehicle Auctions’ (SVA) World Cup-themed Zenith Centre for the Day sale has been hailed another major success, with 176 vehicles sold from 177 entered, strong demand across all fuel types, and £9,680 raised for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Held at SVA’s Shoreham site on 8th July, the event delivered a lively atmosphere, with buyers travelling from as far as Leeds to take part in the football‑themed festivities. The line-up represented an excellent mix of ex‑fleet stock, featuring 75 electric vehicles, 60 hybrids and 42 ICE vehicles, all NAMA Grade 1–3.
Demand for electric vehicles remained particularly strong, with EVs achieving an impressive 102% CAP overall. CAP performance across the full sale reached 101%, reflecting sustained appetite for high‑quality fleet vehicles. Among the standout results was a Porsche model that attracted notably competitive bidding.
As in previous years, SVA and Zenith partnered to raise money for charity, donating £25 per vehicle sold alongside additional contributions made on the day. This year’s chosen charity, CRY, supports cardiac screening, research and bereavement services for families affected by young sudden cardiac death. The sale generated £9,680 for the organisation.
