So far 2010 has proved to be a very fundamental year for Shoreham Vehicle Auctions .

An excellent team effort headed up by Alan Agate on the Operational side of the business.

The business is now selling more vehicles – in less time – for more customers.

The results speak for themselves. More and more Industry leading vendors are taking a long close look at Shoreham Vehicle Auctions and indeed a number have already committed themselves to recent sales programmes.

We are both delighted and very proud to announce that Motability Operations Ltd, ING Car Lease (UK) Ltd, Fiat Group Automobiles UK Ltd, Sixt Rent a Car,TLS Vehicle Rentals,Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions,Duncton PLC and XBG Remarketing Limited have now entered into ongoing branded sales programmes with us and we expect to add other Industry ‘household names’ in the near future. These new vendors truly complement our solid backbone of loyal existing customers such as Balfour Beatty Fleet Services who have viewed Shoreham Vehicle Auctions as their preferred Southern based auction partner for over 8 years. In August of this year we indicated that our Senior Management Structure was in the process of being expanded and strengthened.

 We can announce that Alex Wright has been appointed to the role of Managing Director for Shoreham Vehicle Auctions  Ltd effective from October 7th2010.

 Having initially spent 7 years with BCA Alex then joined Manheim Auctions. During his 15 years with Manheim Alex spearheaded the National development of  Commercial Vehicle Sales within the business. Alex achieved considerable success and was promoted to the position of Director of Commercial Vehicle Sales , a post he held for 10 years. Wright will now join forces with Sales Director Bob Knowles with an immediate brief to introduce even more high quality vendors along with an expansion plan to increase the existing auction programme from two sales a week to three.

In addition , Michael Simmons has also been recruited in the role of  Auction Manager reporting into Alan Agate Operations Director. Michael has considerable physical auction experience gained by spending over 15 years with Manheim Auctions.

Finally , we fully subscribe to the belief that any business is only as good as the people who work within it. On that basis we can announce that we have exciting plans in terms of new people joining the business within the near future. ……………..watch this space !
